β-sitosterol and its glucosides, coumarins: umbelliferone, scopoletin and scoparnone, terpene: taraxerol derivatives from tubers

Bioactivity :

Tuber root powder: regular intake can be beneficial to persons suffering from or prone to coronary disease problems and  diabetes
